THE BANDS
++ FURNITURE
At every turn, furniture attempts to strike that elusive balance between bold invention and comforting familiarity in its music. Described variously as post-rock, shoegaze and avant-pop, the band never strays far from being artful, honest, sweeping and emotional.


++NAO
Straddling the line between the classic punk energy of the legendary Fugazi and today’s manic metal/hardcore upstarts System of a Down, you get the hard-hitting outfit NAO.
Arguably the best band in the current Malaysian local Chinese independent scene, their politically charged live set, with its fair share of double pedal thumping, funkoid metal interludes, jarring dual guitar hammerings and spirited vocals, had fists pumping the air in glory.


++ TELEPHONY DELIVERY
A 5 piece post-alternative outfit hailing from the many suburbs of Selangor paving our way across the hearts of many with our gut-wrenching sonic scapes and bewildering on-stage presence.

++DESERTERS
Kuala Lumpur-based Deserters are the hybrid of their diverse musical backgrounds and the best bits of your record collection, all sprinkled with a little attitude. Formed and fronted in 2006 by Zack Yusof, this unlikely combination comes soaked to the bone with infectious, ramshackle noise pop complete with soaring melodies, poignant melancholia and planet-sized hooks.
